A few things worth clearing up
Straight answers about the publication, hero reading and the places to check the live game rules.
Is this an official Blizzard website?
No. This is an independent fan publication about Overwatch. Blizzard Entertainment develops and publishes the game. Our advice is editorial, and official hero descriptions and patch notes are linked as references.
Where should I check the current hero abilities?
Use the official Overwatch hero directory and Blizzard’s patch notes. A live update may change an ability, a role or a mode after a guide was written. Our role selection is an introduction, not a replacement for that directory.
Do I need to play Competitive to use these guides?
No. Cover, regrouping and ability timing are useful subjects in casual play too. Competitive has its own rules and eligibility requirements; check those in the game before queueing.
Do you sell accounts, currency or coaching?
No. This site does not take payments, trade player accounts, sell coins or provide paid rank services. Use Blizzard’s official support and storefronts for game-account or purchase questions.
Should I learn several heroes at once?
Start with a small pool you can understand. Learn the basic job of one hero, then add an alternative that answers a different situation. A hero selection is more useful when you know why you made it.
How can I send a correction?
Open the contact page and include the page address, the sentence in question and an official source if one is available. Do not send passwords, account recovery details or payment information.
Still looking for a source?
Use the official directory for a hero kit, or the patch page for a changed number. For a sentence on this website, the contact page is the right starting point.
